Beautiful outdoor shopping area with curbside parking, first 10 min is free, plenty of shops and fun stores, cafes and restaurants with ice cream to finish up the day. Fun way to spend an afternoon.

Suburban Square is an outdoor upscale shopping mall located in suburban Philadelphia in Ardmore PA.   I personally have been visiting this location since the later 1990’s. It recently has undergone changes to enhance parking and modify traffic flow. It has a nice mix of high-end stores and many boutiques scattered throughout.   It’s a one stop shopping area that has everything from an Apple Store to a wonderful farmers market and Trader Joe’s.   Lots of dentists and doctors have their practices right here in the plaza.  Quite a few restaurants to enjoy, too.  If in the area, it’s well worth a visit.

Amazing hidden gem beware once you go you will keep coming back the chili dumplings are the star of the show if you do not like spicy food it takes away the fun and experience but they have put spicy ratings next to food items which is helpful

Definitely the high end of retail here! Found some great deals at West Elm, ate some great food at Lola's, followed it all up with a quick visit to Paper Chase to get the cards, wrapping paper, and other final needs for gifts! Parking is a bit tricky on the road, but the parking lot is moderately sized and free.

Mini focal points scattered around….a bonfire, floral arrangements, holiday decorations, seating, and a kids area. Cafes, vegetarian food (hip city veg), a few restaurants, gourmet food shops, Trader Joe’s, cafes, sweet shops, Lifetime fitness, and retail stores. Decent people watching, and lots of cute dogs. What’s not to like?

Suburban Square in Ardmore is one of my favorite shopping destinations on the Main Line. It has a great mix of high-end and everyday stores, making it perfect for a quick errand or a full day of shopping. The layout is spacious and walkable, with a charming mix of indoor and outdoor areas that make it feel more like a small-town shopping district than a typical mall. The selection of stores is excellent, from well-known brands like Apple and Lululemon to unique local boutiques. Dining options are also fantastic—whether you want a casual bite at Sweetgreen or a sit-down meal at a nice restaurant, there’s something for everyone. The Farmer’s Market is a hidden gem, offering fresh produce, specialty foods, and gourmet treats. Parking is generally easy, and the area is always clean and well-maintained. It’s a great spot to meet friends, grab a coffee, or just enjoy a leisurely stroll. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

Ope air shopping and dining with a west coast vibe. Modern and beautifully crafted. A collection of popular upscale shoppes and restaurants with a few originals baked right in. On one end of Suburban Square there is a nicely sized Trader Joe’s with a delightful indoor Farmers Market next door. Farmer Market is definitely worth checking out, especially the bakery with the “ultimate chocolate chip cookies.” The other side of Suburban Square features a lovely grassy area with Adirondack chairs and bench seating. There are plenty of areas to sit including a “living room” with cushy couches outside of Oath Pizza. There is metered street parking as well as free parking at the end of Coulter Ave., and a parking garage behind the Apple Store. The area is very lively with shoppers, diners, families with young children, and swarms of teenagers. Worth checking out!

One of our favorite shopping spots! Great stores with modern brands people want. Easy to walk around as well. Some stores are a bit pricey, but that’s how those brands are typically. Decent food options as well. A great stop on the main line.
